Rare Vintage Cast Iron Coin Bank Black Americana Man with a Cigar Wearing a Top Hat and Checkered Pants Sitting on a Stump with a Tobacco Bucket.

Likely made in the 1940s-50s.

Size, also in photos: 8.25"; tall, 5.5" long, 3.5" wide. Heavy. Weighs 4 lbs. 1 oz.

NOTE: In good condition for its vintage age, despite its flaws: Rust spots on the coin bank. See all photos for reference please. I have cleaned it carefully, but it did not remove the rust spots.

Based on research, this could be fashioned after the vintage La Rosa Cigars advertising, featuring a cast iron man sitting on a cigar box. The bank has a well-dressed man in a top hat and checkered pants, with a cigar in his mouth and box of matches in his hand. Behind him is a tobacco bucket/pail.
