Painted in oil on wood, this black kitty turns its moody gaze away from a bold bubblegum-pink background. Though small, the 3” original artwork is finely detailed, with bristled whiskers and dimensional fur coat. The painting is displayed behind curved convex glass and backed with tan velveteen inside a vintage golden brass locket-style picture frame. Attached to the frame’s ringed top, a textural sandy-brown ribbon completes the look of this statement artwork. When hung on a wall (as I have her right now!) the piece measures approximately 13“ from top of the ribbon to bottom of the frame.
