Original Signed KAIKO MOTI Color Aquatint

Overview: Up for sale is an original color aquatint on Japanese Washi paper by noted Indian artist, Kaiko Moti (1921-1989). It is pencil-signed at lower right and numbered (111/120) at lower left. This particular print is titled "Vase de Fleurs" (Vase of Flowers). This exact same aquatint sold recently at auction for hundreds more than my asking price.

Moti was born in Bombay in 1921. He studied in London and eventually moved to Paris in 1950. Moti is one of the premier engravers of the 20th century. He has numerous auction records.

Condition: Good/Very Good overall condition. There is some tape residue in upper margin and slight 3/8" tear at upper center margin.

Measurements: Piece measures approximately 30 inches high x 22 inches wide.
