New Haven Westinghouse Plymouth Strike Electric Lowell Banjo Clock

I did attach an AC cord to the existing wires, located in the bottom compartment. The clock motor did run. After a few minutes of running the minute hand did not move. I unplugged the cord & left the room. When I returned the minute hand did move about 5 min. approx the time I was gone. I know these old electric motors self wind while running. Maybe to keep time during power outages. In addition, I have read that on this clock mechanism there is a manual wind adjustment...just food for thought for you potential restoration buffs.

I borrowed the last picture from a fellow eBay-er to explain the complexities of setting the clock.

Thanks for Lookin''
